Welcome to  a Special Episode release between 34 and 35, today we focus more on the product which is the event Conquest 2016 and we have with us Dhairik Fuletra the CEO at Conquest 2016 to tell us more. Conquest is an international startup conclave organised by the entrepreneurial cell of BITS Pilani. It provides an exemplary platform for emerging startups to step to the fore and grow. Conquest caters to garden fresh ideas that not only change the way we live but also the way we think. To reinforce this spirit of entrepreneurship across the world they are back with Conquest 2016.


Conquest is BITS Pilani’s International Startup Challenge. They have had eleven successive editions in the past, and year after year they have given it a facelift to build a perfect launchpad for all the emerging startups across Asia.
Connecting the missing links, Conquest took a step forward to penetrate deeper into tier two and tier three cities by collaborating with several partner organisations like NEN and Techstars.

Over the years, Conquest has impacted numerous startups with a cumulative total of over $10million in funding. Further with over 1400 entries every year, Conquest builds a wide opportunity to free premium resources for the founders to make their venture more lean and cost-saving.

Conquest has been featured in over 60 top media houses and online media platforms like CNBC TV-18, Economic Times, Times of India. The Grand Finale, held at ITC Sheraton (New Delhi), was a mega event with prominent entrepreneurs and leads from Google, IBM and likewise with directors of 13 investment firms attending the event.
This year they are back with a stronger model to make the journey more impactful. They are amidst their registrations phase where they are scouting for applicants from tier 2 and tier 3 cities to bring them to light in front of investors and media.
They will be closing our first round by end of this month leading to round 2 from 1st May onwards.
The mentoring sessions and investor dating sessions for Conquest shall be conducted in the months of June and July after the shortlist of Top 50 startups of Conquest 2016.
On further curation, they will be shortlisting the top 10 startups of this year which will be called to New Delhi for the Conquest Grand Finale.
One of  their past runners-up Gamezop, secured a funding of $350,000 few months post Conquest.
The founders, Yashash and Gaurav, also went up to be one of the Forbes Asia 30 under 30. Gamezop is a one-stop destination for casual games where users play games without downloading apps.
